Religious education catechists are practicing Catholics who instruct and share faith with others. Catechists are not experts on Catholic doctrine but express an openness and willingness to grow in their faith.
As a catechist you become a member of a smaller community of faith as you get to know other catechists. Catechists also meet and get to know the families of the parish.
The Director of Religious Education, Jean Leute, provides opportunity for growth in your role as a catechist.
There are 4 inservices provided yearly. The inservices for 2014-15 will focus on the “spirituality of the catechist’.
