Children’s Liturgy of the Word is each Sunday during the 9:00 am Mass at St. Raphael.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word has two purposes:

• To provide a quality liturgical experience for children

• To proclaim scripture in a way that children will be able to understand and live.

The celebrations of these liturgies are intended to form children in the liturgical language of the Church, to nourish and guide their spiritual growth, and to immerse them in the Word in ways that are understandable to them.

Participation in this liturgical experience is appropriate for children age 4 to 10. We ask that an adult or older sibling accompany any child under the age of five.
